Even though I nominated myself for parent of the year it was Dave who did that. I'm not grooming her to be a trekkie. We can still be friends. As for you and Dave, I can choose if I have to pick sides.
dear karen- while letting shatner rear you child does put in the running for parents of the year, my vote goes to kathy and jenny's mother for knowingly letting jenny eat pooh cubes.
also, i believe that they prefer to be called "treckers" now. if you are going support leah's life choices you should use the correct jargon.
